The Leaves Are Falling...

“The leaves are all falling like they're falling in love with the ground.” ― Andrea Gibson

Autumn is almost at an end this time around, and the last few tough leaves are clinging on as the strong West wind desperately tries to carry them away. It seemed the perfect time to take a family walk down to the sea to relish in the last colourful bits of my favourite season. Although autumn emphasizes everything I love most about nature, life in the country, and is most in tune with my own personality, to me every one of the four seasons has its particular and unique qualities. Which all in all makes the change the best of it all. Although I love travelling to every part of the world, I don't think I could ever live in a place where it is cold all year round or hot all year round. I love and embrace change. So I feel very much at home right where I am :)

The sun sets already around 5 in the afternoon now, so we sat together on the edge of the cliffs and watched the sunset before walking home to start dinner. Sometimes late walks like these end with tired tears and tantrums as soon as we are homebound, and then, other times like this day, everything aligned, the sunset was spectacular and everyone was in a great mood at the same time. It was beautiful!
